Astilbe Amethyst Plant Herbaceous in 1.5 LTR Pot

An outstanding plant for rich moist soil which does not dry out. Graceful, deep lilac, long, feathery plumes, which consist of hundreds of densely packed tiny flowers, appear over the mound of lacy green leaves from early to mid summer. These are attractive to bees and butterflies and make excellent cut flowers or can be dried for winter decorations. Makes a good ground cover plant for moist shady areas, but is tolerant of partial shade. Good for waterside planting. Height 75 - 80cm (30-31ins), spread 45 - 60cm (18 - 24ins).
